Description
We offers both driveshafts and driveshaft guards. Driveshafts are rotating rods that transmits torque to the component under test. The Driveshaft Guard acts as a shield surrounding the driveshaft. Both are installed between the dynamometer and the engine (or the component under test).
Driveshaft Guards:
Designed to protect test cell operators from contacting the driveshaft. We offer both standard driveshaft guards and ones that are equipped with interceptor tubes, which provide an additional level of safety by reducing the motion of a failed driveshaft and safely bring the rotating equipment to a stop.
Features include:
- Easy installation
- Completely covers driveshaft and coupling to add safety to your test cell
- Applicable for all centerline heights
- Hinged with lock pins on both sides for access from either direction
- Optional interceptor tubes provide an additional level of safety
